Indoor street-truck eats, for reals

Internet acronyms can be a little annoying and childish...oh wait, BRB, B/C OTPHJ FTW! Just FYI. To put a different kind of abbreviated spice in your life, hit OMG Taco, opening Friday.

From a former San Diego food truck owner, OMG (an acronym for "Oh MmM GoGi", of course) is a Korean taco jib with a bubble-shaped neon-lit lounge and an adjacent counter area with street-centric trimmings including a mock food truck built into the kitchen, plus a mural with a mermaid and tags by local graf artists Ser2, Poest, and Perve, so bring your sister, cause he's like the nicest guy ever. Tacos're served with Monterey jack & mild cheddar, and include chicken or short rib w/ house soy sauce, spicy pork w/ sweet chili paste & garlic, and SD-style beer-battered fish; burritos are similarly stuffed, and can be topped off with mixes like "OMFG", with cilantro, green onions, roasted sesame seeds, caramelized kimchee, and a mayo base, which’s where Storm "Really Big" Shadow hangs out when the rest of the Cobras are out being less fat. Aside from cocktails you can get drinky via glasses, bottles, or flights of Korean rice wine in flavors like natural, red, plum, and Soju, while for beers there're six taps (Fat Tire, Leinenkugel's), plus 20 bottles including Belhaven Scottish, Belgium's Leffe, and Korean lager Hite, which sadly is only guaranteed to add to your width.

They'll also have chef's specials that change weekly, plus buyable canvas art rotated every 30 days from respected local tagsters like Totem, who, BTW, def should've been called Totes. SMH.
