Sausage-encased lamb chops & can-shaped pints of suds

Harking back to his family's ancestral roots aboard the Mayflower (where his great-great-grandfather likely made eyes at Constance Hopkins), former Garden at the Cellar chef Will Gilson's unveiled his highly anticipated solo spot, a heavy-on-the-New England heritage, 100-seat "urban farmhouse" set in an Inman Square building that once housed the Puritan Cake Company. After sidling past a vintage-but-still-working 1920s Glenwood stove now masquerading as a hostess stand, grab a pint at the bar before making awkward small talk about (or with!) Brian Scalabrine at this seven-seat granite slab oyster & charcuterie bar nestled in the back. Before taking down Spanish croquette-like stuffed quahogs and a sausage-encased lamb chop w/ hay-roasted carrots, destroy this cured & smoked swordfish belly pastrami w/ pickled Brussels sprouts and mustard gelato on a pumpernickel puree. Casually peruse a tome about your fave beverage whilst enjoying one, either their specially brewed Nut Your Average Ginger, a chestnut & honey brown ale from Peak Organic, or this frosty Jack Abby's Smoke & Dagger served in beer can-shaped pint glass.
