Ken Oringer's dual Back Bay jewels have been completely reworked -- Clio exchanges its conservative fancy dress for something a little more comfortable/revealing/slutty, opting to replace the formal entryway with an all-glass vestibule, double the size of the new walnut bar, and introduce cocktail classes with Todd Maul, plus an all-new bar menu featuring truffle pot pie with a soft poached egg, and duck drummettes with cocoa pimente in an XO sauce. Uni is also listening to considerably hepper music, thanks to its Japanese street food (fried chicken w/ kimchee & ginger mustard, pork belly and crispy yuba buns), late-night ramen menu (avail Thurs-Sun), and monthly Underground event announced on Twitter featuring Oringer himself creating a special chef's whim menu for only those at the sashimi bar.
