Back in action after its renovation-induced slumber, the new NoMI's ditched white tablecloths in favor of a livelier vibe, with an open kitchen, cheese cave, and raw bar providing a view of the action, and a retooled menu featuring handmade tagliolini (oven-dried tomatoes/roasted garlic/shaved Pecorino), pan-seared soft shell crabs w/ fava beans and Meyer lemon preserve, and a sweet pepper jam-topped Lake Superior walleye, whose vision prevented it from ever becoming a pilot fish.
