Pig Roast At Homestead
The folks at Homestead are cooking up a 100lb Swabian Hall pig from Iowa this Sunday. That should be more than enough to get you over there, but if you require details, fine: they're spit roasting it over Templeton Rye barrels, a spirit they'll also be using to baste said pig (along with coconut) before serving it alongside a pair of gravys, and doling out even more rye in the form of cocktails like the rye/ ginger beer/ lime Templeton Kicker.
