Green Table Artisan Kitchen & Bistro

Many businesses these days focus on keeping things green, which is fine, as long as you're aware that even if you're in a playoff race, Shawn's not even gonna consider playing on the high holidays. Leveraging a slightly different kind of green-ness to fill you with delicious eats: Green Table Miami.

Set in the small sunny space that used to house Whisk, GT's a daytime bistro all about sourcing locally grown organic goods, and proves it by going so far as to actually name their farmers on the menu, including Teena's Pride, Hani's Mediterranean, Green Garden Organics, and GROW, which you'd better start doing now, 'cause they sound pissed and serious about it. Smaller stuff includes salads like Teena's heirloom tomato & mozz w/ purple basil, and sandwiches including grilled Bell & Evans chicken breast w/ avocado, jack, and chipotle mayo, a roast beef number w/ blue cheese & fig compote, and a Philly cheesesteak made with grass-fed beef, caramelized red onions, provolone, and herb-roasted spuds, which explain why Mr. Webb's not exactly in dunk-contest shape these days. Bigger plates deliver stuff like ratatouille w/ couscous, toasted pine nuts & basil; grilled curry chicken breast w/ jasmine rice & seasonal veggies; and a dish w/ rustic mashed potatoes & wilted spinach surrounding grass-fed meatloaf, as the singer apparently tries to keep his respiratory system healthy while still having fun hanging out with Spud.

Because they want you to be fatter and less attractive than them, GT's also got sweets like guava empanadas, goat's milk ice cream in flavors like Parm cheese served with heirloom tomatoes, fruit, and EVO, plus bevs like lemonade, organic tea, and fair trade coffee, also what you wishfully drink while offering Green for Gabe Kapler, and hoping they don't realize he plays on Yom Kippur, and is totally jacked.
