The Whataburger of Eastern European pastries

"Go to West, young man" has always been the answer for intrepid young Dallasites seeking new possibilities for sweet dough stuffed with things. Houston-based Kolache Factory makes the trip a little shorter with their first Metroplex location in Kolache Station territory (Plano), offering both a full-service coffee bar and drive-thru for customers jonesing so hard they need to Czech themselves before they wreck themselves.Available as singles or by the dozen, the 21 styles stretch from "Sunrise Delights" filled with fresh fruits (peaches, lemon, apricot…), cream cheese, not-cream cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage, and more, to "great for breakfast or lunch" jobs like the Philly Cheese Steak and the Chicken Enchilada, to "South of the Border" action that does include the ham, egg, cheese & jalapeno Ranchero, but apparently doesn't include the Chicken Enchilada? If you drive all the way to the kolache place and decide you no longer want kolache, you'll also find everything from ham & egg croissants, to Texas hot Polish sausage, to sticky buns. They're obviously ideal for catering parties, and'll deliver within five miles, great if your personal motto is "Go nowhere, young man".
