Food for a cause

To benefit The Family Place, on March 13th area culinary & mixological heroes will descend on the Highland Park Cafeteria to prepare classic cocktails (Old Fashioneds, Stingers, etc.) and gourmet spins on lunch-line classics; whether or not you'll see hairnets on marquee chefs like John Tesar, Matt McCallister, J. Chastain, and Tim Byres is anyone's guess, but they'll definitely bury your tray with stuff like Salisbury steak, wild boar sloppy joes, tater tots w/ pork belly, and pasta w/ duck meatballs -- which, if this event truly honors its middle-school inspiration, is exactly what you'll be doing.
