West Coast hot dogs from Cleveland, now in Lakewood

While Cleveland does have a Dawg Pound, the man behind Jerry's actually took frankfurter research trips to Chi-town, NYC, and Buffalo before opening his first restaurant in the city where Drew Carey lost all that weight, Los Angeles.Jerry's first DFW spot replaces the old Lakewood Bar & Grill, and offers mesquite-grilled handfoods starting with the obvious: naturally-cased, all-beef wieners "with snap", in styles ranging from the Onion Crunch (bacon, cheddar, said onion crunch, bbq sauce), to the spicy-mustard Pastrami, to the Cleveland, with sauerkraut, celery salt, and Cleveland Stadium mustard, something Colt's arm just isn't physically capable of putting on passes. Or, step up to sausages, like a pork Jalapeno Hot Link, a chicken Uncle Frank's Italian (like Uncle Frank, it's got red wine in it), or a pork/veal/nutmeg Bavarian Brat. Finally, grab meat pucks like the "Kick-It" Burger (pepper Jack, jalapeno, onion crunch, iceberg, tomato, mayo), or the MOJO: fried-egg, bacon & cheddar that, once you get your cardiologist bill, will have you saying "The Price Is Not Right".
