1. Edible Insects @ The Natural History Museum Cromwell Road, London, SW7 5BD (Kensington)

After closing time this Friday, NHM will serve up a tasting menu of seven surprise "roasted, toasted, and chocolate-coated" insects, bookended by a panel led by an entomologist, a hunger expert, and Archipelago's head chef, who'll discuss why we'll be eating much more of the world's 1.7k different edible species in the future -- so here's hoping we don't run out of chocolate.
