Great pizza, right next to the home of the NHL champs

If there's one thing the Lakers need, it's a point guard, but if there's another thing, it's a bench, but if there's a third thing it's a serviceable backup shooting guard, but if there's a fourth thing, it's a good pizza place near Staples. Enter Soleto, a trattoria/pizzeria from the Boa crew that evokes a Sherlock Holmes-hangout vibe with Old World light fixtures, worn brick walls, and hardwood floors, because every Dick loves hardwood.Bites're casually boot-specific, with full-on dishes including white wine shrimp linguini, lightly lemon-fried branzino, and a balsamic-marinated skirt steak. 'Za, meanwhile, is wood-ovened at 800 degrees, with gourmet topping combos like chicken sausage w/ marinated mushrooms, artichoke & fontina; truffled prosciutto w/ Italian hot peppers, cheese & parsley; and the ham-pineapple-olive-pink peppercorn "Diamond Head", which Lisa Turtle'll likely refuse. They've also got a sweet happy hour at their 360-degree bar, with $4 beers, sangria, and small bites like polenta croquettes, housemade ricotta bruschetta w/ organic honey, and antipasti, but not anti-Presti 'cause Mitch Kupchak doesn't have time for pizza.
