The Strand House

This Manhattan Beach eatery's meant to give off the vibe of a choice beach house, with four floors of patio dining, and food from dudes who've cooked at Grace and Gjilena. Said vittles include pizzas (Manila clams w/ bacon, chive, parsley & chile; forest mushrooms w/ melted leek & garlic); charcuterie (pork shoulder, duck rilletes) and proteins including crispy air-dried duck w/ baby root vegetables & apricot gastrique, and charred corn-topped Day Boat scallops that, unlike Day-O scallops, don't make you want to go home.
