Considering some Americans don't even need passports to get into Paris (right, Nick Carter? And Brody Jenner? And... Eddie Furlong? You go Eddie Furlong!), it's ok the two dudes who opened Dominique Bistro aren't even French. Their country house-meets-mod-gallery-ish space is outfitted with mismatched wood/wicker chairs, oversized white booths, vintage chandeliers, and mirrored walls that reflect tables covered with delicious Franco-fare
One of those guys did train at Le Cordon Bleu (the famed culinary school, not the delicious chicken dish, as it's very difficult to train in), and the menu keeps things mighty authentic: daily changing quiches, housemade terrine de foie gras, bacon & Reblochon-covered spuds, escargot soaked in shallot butter & garlic, and white wine-drenched jumbo scallops
For the main thang, choose between stuff like grilled sea bass w/ Champagne risotto, a bearnaise-smothered 16oz rib eye, a pot of steamed mussels, and roasted duck, whose Tales may be slightly rambling and incoherent and involve Cheetos. Woo hoo!
