Zero Otte Nove

Bringing pies and more from the Bronx, Zero's arched brick-and-stucco interior calls to mind an Italian villa (the posters that the chef's brother ripped from the streets of Salerno don't hurt, either), an an appropriate backdrop for housing platters of Peroni-braised short ribs, plus San-Marzano-only 'za topped with everything from soppresata and fresh mozz, to butternut squash puree and truffle cream, also a subset of Chunk's shuffle done exclusively to "Tales of Brave Ulysses".
