Delicious health in CC West

Because your last “healthy” lunch was comprised of 27 rolls of Fruit by the Foot and some Craisins, there’s Crisp, an NYC import with an interior full of exotic woods and chlorophyllic green tile, and a menu featuring uniquely delicious twists on the classic falafel.

The traditional balls are pushed aside for falafel burgers like the Chili Cheese with American and mustard, the roasted pepper/ sun-dried tomato/ goat cheese Nouveau, and the goat cheese & baba ganouch Baba-burger, which Artie Lange steals from the studio fridge every day despite it being clearly labeled as not his.

They've also got fatter pitas than Lois Griffin, which they stuff full of 'lafel balls and innovative toppings like guac, corn, salsa, and nachos in the Mexican, or herbed yogurt and Greek salad for the Athenian (all also available as salads), and everything’s rounded out by sides like roasted red pepper or jalapeno hummus, some seriously crispy fries, and a very healthy corn salad, which ironically, will keep you from becoming husky.

As they don’t have a liquor license, for now Crisp's brews are all from Amanzi Tea, and they'll be switching out/adding new sandwiches over the next few weeks, all of which'll be shown on their website and their mobile page that's so smartphone-enabled, you won't help but be able to Shark Bites Gusher about it.
