Pairing handmade chocolates with local booze

Imported Austrian vices used to be totally cool, until everyone saw the pics, and realized Arnold's maid was really not that hot at all. Bringing the sweetness back to their guilty pleasures NOT in the form of a 10yr-old lovechild, Dallmann Chocolate Boutique.

Following in the footsteps of the pastry shop the proprietor's grandfather opened in 1954 in St. Gilgen, Austria, DCB's the first retail location of their wholesale biz using all family recipes to dole out handmade interesting/crazy chocolatey bliss, which they frequently pair up with local booze slingers, giving you the two things you've always wanted: the ability to wish for more wishes, and a mint condition Spawn #1. Oh, and chocolate and booze, or whatever. Cocoa highlights include their high-end Wonka'd-out bars (made from "single origin" beans), like the Goji Berry & Pink Himalayan Salt, the Acai & Blueberry, and the Valencia, which combines cloves, cinnamon, and Star Anise with a soccer squad that lacks the financial resources to compete with the likes of Barca and Real Madrid. Individual chocolates (which can be boxed in sets of 9 to 36) include their famous hazelnut nougat/ pistachio marzipan "Mozartkugel", plus exotic flavors (Cayenne and Guava), and classics like Peanutbutter & Jam, some of which come with beer-pairing instructions pointing out which go best with dark, fruity/spicy, and Hefs (most likely blondes with tough childhoods).

And as mentioned before, they'll soon be partnering with local tastemakers (Stone Brewery, Venissimo Cheese, etc.) to hold limited-attendance tasting classes, kicking off July 13th with a chocolate and wine tasting, though have too much and you'll likely not Totally Recall the rest of the night.
