Soup's on in North Park

With all of the soup skills of the Seinfeld fascist and none of the anger management issues/ biological racism, the crew behind SDSS first developed a cult following at the OB farmers market as the OB Bread Company, and've now found their cultist followers a more permanent home in North Park. The cozy, almost completely non-Tiger wooded out joint features a scant two tables inside, but tons of outdoor seating on their huge wooden deck, upon which you can enjoy: Duh, Soup: They're filling their bowls (bread or otherwise) with made-from-scratch-daily classic cauldron-fillers like their famed lobster bisque with Tanya sherry, New England clam chowder (also a useful password in Jim Carrey films), roasted red pepper & gouda, and Italian Wedding. Sandwiches: Expect options like the classic torpedo (salami, spicy capicola, prosciutto & Provolone), and paninis like their signature turkey & cheddar with wild blueberry preserves on fresh sourdough, or one with smoked pastrami, Swiss, deli pickles & 1000 island on a fresh rosemary/olive oil bread that Popeye would presumably love to sandwich. Next door, there will soon be a craft beer bar by the same owner where you'll be free to bring your soup, though, if you make a mess, don't be surprised to hear, "NO SUDS FOR YOU!".
