Not content to just open a burger and shake joint, the guy behind Ceiba and DC Coast's other newest venture is a "21st-century American tavern" which draws its new millenniumism from giant halos of LED light, window-side freestanding banquettes, and a massive u-shaped bar w/ floor-to-ceiling glass cabinets housing 80 different bottles of beer. Tavern fare is highlighted by a crispy flatbread w/ Tennessee Country prosciutto, figs, buttermilk bleu, and port syrup, and a "low & slow" roasted duck w/ a chili glaze, also the look someone at the chain gets after eating three orders of Sizzlin' Shrimp Fajitas.
