Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the idea of putting a bullet between the eyes of a lil' Bambi for the purpose of keeping yourself nourished in the forest. But it's a lot less emotionally damaging to shoot a soulless clay pigeon out of the sky. Not being the gun aficionado I make myself out to me, I was pleasantly surprised by my precision aim when I was taken on a daylong excursion to Griffin & Howe for a shooting lesson.
As an amateur marksman, whose only experience in the art of the bullet was roughly 10 years of Goldeneye, picking off moving targets in the sky became almost second-nature as I was given a crash course in shooting and outfitted with a pair of Ball and Buck x Randolph Hunter Leather Aviators. If you had asked me, before today, what kind of sunglasses were best for hunting, I surely would have responded: "whichever look the coolest." I would only have been partially right.
