Jaguar And Bremont Are Making One Of The Sexiest Watches of All-Time

With very few exceptions, Jaguar has always been synonymous with beautifully crafted cars. On the heels of the announcement that they're bringing back the legendary E-Type Lightweight, Jaguar just partnered with Bremont to make this Lightweight E-Type Chronograph, and it's just a little bit hot.

They're only producing six of them (one per Lightweight car that they're making), and the cars are matched to each watch. Sure, the dial is modeled on the E-Type's tachometer, and yes, the minute and hour hands are crafted to look like the tach's needle, but this watch goes way deeper than that.

The corresponding car's serial number is located in the six o'clock position, and nestled between the white gold case and the dial is an aluminum ring made from the spare metal of the corresponding vehicle.

And then you get to the back of the watch. The mechanical bits are fully on display so you can see not just the self-winding movement, but also the main rotor, modeled on the original E-Type steering wheel. Look carefully and you'll notice it even has a wooden rim. As a final bit of detail, the winding crown on the side features the actual tread pattern of the tires that'll be on the "new" Lightweights.
