Meet Hemetic Trading Co., No Nonsense Quality American Gear

Hemetic Trading Company, a fresh startup based in gorgeous Burlington, Vermont, is looking to create a truly American brand. Unlike many other domestic brands, they weren't driven by matters of human rights, the economy, or quality, but rather a discomfort at the notion that the American aesthetic was being exported, manufactured abroad, and then imported again. Looking to keep their products stateside from inception to completion, Hemetic's vision is being realized in a small batch of products, as they take to Kickstarter to get some momentum. Check out what they've got. All of it has a lifetime warranty.

Utility Wrap - $19
Whether it's tools, pens, earbuds, or something way more fun, a utility tool roll will keep your stuff in order and let you set up a portable workstation anywhere with a level surface.

Day-to-Daypack - $89
Simple but unique-looking, Hemetic picks up where L.L. Bean and The North Face leave off with this canvas and nylon pack.

Padded Device Sleeve - $35
For iPads, laptops, important books, and more, Hemetic's padded device sleeve will add a bit of soul to your cold, shiny, made-in-elsewhere devices.

Getaway Laptop Duffel - $129
Designed to carry a week's worth of supplies and a laptop while measuring up to international carry-on standards, this highly water-resistant duffel even has a slip system that can accommodate a skateboard.
