Clothes Inspired By The Carpet From The Shining
While regrettably not cut from swaths of the actual carpet that Kubrick's set designer used, Mondo Tees' latest offering 237 — a nod to the number of the mysterious hotel room in The Shining — features a cardigan, sweater, scarf, and balaclava that pays homage to the painful seventies-style floor covering that lined the halls of the Overlook Hotel.
And if for some reason you're concerned about successfully pulling off an orange/red/brown garment, they've also created a doormat and four by six-foot area rug in the same design.
Because nothing pulls a room together quite like a subconscious sense of impending doom.
