The NASA space suit jacket

Inspired by the coolest suits of all time (literally, space is almost absolute zero), the Betabrand Space Jacket assigns a whole new meaning to the term “technical jacket.” Made with a Tyvek shell that’s permeable to water vapor but not liquid water, the Space Jacket uses reflective insulation similar to the tin foil-like stuff found on NASA's satellites and space suits. But it’s not just a glorified space blanket — the Space Jacket’s quilting is filled with Primaloft Sport's synthetic insulation that, unlike traditional down, works when wet.

On the chest and sleeve, velcro anchors let you trick out the Space Jacket with whatever patches you can find, allowing you to pay tribute to anything from an Apollo Mission to Led Zeppelin, or even to your own name.
