The 25th Anniversary Nike Air Max 90s Are Made Of Actual Cork

The Air Max 90 is one of Nike's most iconic sneakers, having sheathed the feet of millions around the world since its debut in 1990. So, Nike decided to pop some bottles and celebrate the shoe's Silver Anniversary by releasing a limited-edition pair fashioned from actual cork.

Hitting (very few) shelves in April, the kicks will feature a unique and questionably practical cork upper paired with the popular Infrared colorway. There's no word yet on pricing, but considering how much Swoosh fanboys have historically dropped on anniversary and limited edition debuts, it's safe to assume they'll be worth much more than their weight in cork.
