These Gorgeous Guitars Are Made Out Of Recycled Skateboards

Music and skateboarding go hand-in-hand—just ask our own Wil Fulton—so it makes sense that some of the best looking guitars around began their lives tearing up ramps and pavement. Prisma Guitars creates custom electric guitars from repurposed skateboard decks, and the results are absolutely gorgeous.

Each guitar is a one-of-a-kind handmade masterpiece, constructed out of the wood from broken and used skateboard decks. The shop makes custom guitar pick-ups too, so you'll be totally covered for your next skatepark jam sesh. If you live in the Bay Area with more than 10 old skateboards laying around, you can even donate your decks here so they'll live on to make beautiful music.

Head to Prisma's site here to snag your own guitar, starting at $2,300.

Brett Williams is an editorial assistant at Supercompressor. As much as he's tried both, he sucks at skating and guitar. He still wants one of these.
