The 5 Things Steven Rojas Can’t Live Without

Steven Rojas is a man, in most circles, who needs no introduction. He's been on the tip of the tongue of some of the world's most intriguing and influential people since his days as a raucous party promoter in downtown Manhattan, but it's his consistent drive to hone in on exactly what the kids will be talking about tomorrow that has lead him to a world traveling gig atop The Morgans Hotel Group's Digital Marketing arm.

You might know the Morgans Group. If it's a city worth being in, chances are they've got a hotel you'll want to be partying inside. Next up for Steven? Working alongside Alan Philips for the launch of Mondrian London.

So, tell us a little bit about yourself, Steven:

"Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped—turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called....
Queens, New York. "

Gear

Nike Streak LT (pictured) - $75
Brooks Ravenna 5 - $110
Nike's Streak comes with a mesh upper to keep you cool, and foam insoles for extra comfort, making a statement in a range of bold colors. Brooks' Ravenna, on the other hand, has got you covered for longer runs with their adjustable saddle, letting you maximize stability and balance.
Steven: I put them on and I can literally run away from my problems. Right now I'm running the streets in my Brooks Ravenna 5s and for sprints I use Nike Streak LTs.

Tech

Vintage Air-King Rolex - Prices Vary
The only thing better than a Rolex is a Rolex with a story. The least pretentious of all the Rolexes, the Air-King is about as classic as they come. And of course, they wear in, not out.
Steven: Does my vintage Rolex count? Technically that's 'tech.' That watch has taken a beating and still works perfectly, plus it was gift from my father.

Ride

1964 Cherry Convertible Mustang - Prices Vary
You know Mustang. America’s original pony car hit the ground running on April 17th, 1964, and hasn’t ever stopped. It wasn’t an engineering masterpiece, but the social brilliance of bringing a small V8 to the masses was a revelation. Today, the first models range anywhere from sub-$20K to over $50, depending on how they’re optioned and their condition.
Steven: If you need to ask why, you don't get to ride in it.

Home

Mother's Painting - Priceless
"We want happy paintings. Happy paintings. If you want sad things, watch the news." — Bob Ross
You just can't put a price on nostalgia.
Steven: It's hanging in my kitchen. Why? She painted it.

Vice

...None?
Wikipedia says, "Vice is a practice, behavior, or habit generally considered immoral, sinful, depraved, or degrading in the associated society." We're dubious.
Steven: Nope, don't have any of those.

Bonus: Coach Leather

The Andrew - $295
Made from Italian calfskin, this classic Derby boasts a sleek, crisp silhouette that can take you from bar to boardroom. Available in black, cognac, or espresso shades, they're as durable as they are good-looking.
Steven: Good name, strong shoe.
