The 18K Goldfinger Omega Seamaster

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of GoldfingerOmega—James Bond's current watch of choice—created something special: a one-of-a-kind, gold Seamaster Aqua Terra. Sold for $112,000 in a special auction though Christies (around eight times what they thought it would go for) we wonder if this will actually grace a wrist. Let's hope.

If it does grace a wrist, the wearer will get the whole package of Omega's finest. The guilded in-house Master Co-Axial calibre 8501 keeps the yellow gold-plated hands running up to chronometer standards, and it can handle 500 feet of pressure.

The watch, which is also resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, is housed in this case, which is built to resemble Fort Knox. "It's gold, Jerry, gold!"
