Shwood Spring/Summer 2015 Collection - $149+ Portland-based Shwood just dropped its new spring/summer 2015 collection, and things look pretty bright for both prescription and sun. Check out their new wooden shades.
Side Project Skateboards - $175+ Individually numbered and made by hand from unique woods laminated together, the Side Project Skateboards folks make beautiful vintage-inspired boards. They have some new stuff for 2015, and they've upped their game.
Shoei Hornet X2 - $603 If you don't want to have to deal with a slew of helmets but plan on attacking varied terrain on the bike, the Hornet X2 is the solution. Perfect for off-road, but not so outrageous for the tarmac, this dual-sport helmet is built for everything you can throw at it.
Survco Credit Card Axe - $29 There's a lot that the mantra "you never know" makes people carry, but it's a little more reasonable when the gear turns out to be the size of a credit card. Sharp, tiny, and strong, this little stainless-steel thing can easily be lashed to a handle, stick, or bat to cut stuff down. Don't use an axe much? It's also a multitool with 20 other functions.
Light in Motion GoPro Sidekick - $80-135 The GoPro's low light capabilities are pretty darn good, but it's still better when there's a little light on the subject. Attaching to a GoPro, the Sidekick provides a floodlight or a spotlight to illuminate your badass exploits for optimal recording. You need light to get that proof on tape.
