The Picnic Blanket That Fits In Your Pocket

For any outdoor concert or picnic, most people we know seem to be incredibly willing to accept a few grass stains if it means not having to lug a blanket around. Large and typically unwieldy, blankets require a bag to carry them, which means less room for beer, food, and beer. While you could use a space blanket or a large piece of unsightly or uncomfortable plastic packed really tight, you'd be better off going with the Matador Pocket Blanket, which can pack up into your pocket.

The Matador is waterproof and puncture resistant, and there's even a mini version, which is smaller and can go on your backpack's zipper pull if your pockets are full. These guys really get that squatting and sitting on your coat or hands sucks.

While you might think pressurizing a blanket with a substantial footprint into a tiny pocket-sized square is difficult, it's not a big deal. Check out how it's done.
