The Credit Card-Sized Multitool

You probably have a lot of tools. Perhaps even an "ultimate set of tools." But unless you have incredible foresight, Jedi summoning powers, or happen to have Eagle Scout training that hasn't worn off, you're going to be stuck with just your wallet, keys, and phone in most situations. Having seen almost all the multitools out there, we know selecting the right multitool for the person is a very personal process. But if your keychain is big enough, and you don't feel like using a bulkier Swiss Card, the TSA-approved Wallet Ninja might be the way to go.

Made of a single piece of steel, the Wallet Ninja has 18 different functions, counted in a Billy Mays fashion in the video above. It includes a hex wrench, screwdriver, box and letter opener, a ruler, fruit peeler, can and bottle opener, and metric and imperial rulers.

As we've demonstrated with our crusade against the Costanza wallet, we're pretty conscious of not ruining the silhouette of your butt (or your spinal alignment), so we checked the width next to a credit card and found them almost identical. It's ever so slightly fatter, but it's a small price to pay for having a tiny toolkit in your back pocket.

We'll admit that it adds a bit of heft; I certainly noticed I had it in my pocket. But hey, after picking up my wallet a few times, I had forgotten. We live in a relative world, ya'll.

And if you don't like the look, just hit up Home Depot and grab a can of gold spray paint. Or black.
