This Flashlight Can Cook an Egg

Truth be told, we're completely on the fence when it comes to the practicality of the Flashtorch, a cartoonishly intense flashlight from a company actually called Wicked Lasers. This devastatingly powerful flashlight can bust out 4,100 lumens, bright enough to deserve its own solar system. When you switch its setting from floodlight to spotlight, the focused energy from the Flashtorch's 100 watt halogen bulb will literally start fires, or cook eggs.

The Flashtorch's ridiculous power means that it can only shine for 10 to 40 minutes, depending on which of the three levels you need it for, but since it's meant to be used as a searchlight that might not be a huge issue. While it can barely last longer than a college freshman, it's lithium ion battery can recharge without being removed from the aerospace-grade aluminum housing.

Oh, here's that egg-cooking we promised you. If you buy this flashlight, be careful. To quote our favorite Facebook comment on the Flashtorch: "I need this so I can start random forest fires when I'm simply trying to see in the dark."
