Southern Tide

Stretching usually just precedes or follows the main event, like hammies before a casual pick-up game of roundball, or the truth after picking up a morally casual round woman. For a clothing brand that's always stretching, check out Southern Tide's new spring drop

Helmed by a South Carolinian seeking to fuse the artistry of Italian high fashion with his simpler Southern heritage, ST's a prep-tastic menswear brand whose traditional stable of polos/khakis/sport shirts are set apart by their "3%" stretch, which helps 'em retain their shape, unlike Val Kilmer (dude is fat, Google him). The just-arrived spring line features new, busier designs on their previously solid-only sport shirts, like "bluefin tattersall" and the loud "sailor red masterplaid", and also sets blue/white seersucker against one of six solid colors on their signature Skipjack polo, also a team horseback sport played without Jack, because that dude sucks at polo. They've also re-upped their similarly stretch-infused pantaloon game, with previously khaki-only "Channel Marker" pants and shorts now available pleated and brightened up with new colors including "true blue", "cadet blue", and "offshore green", perfect for when you just want to chill, baby, chill

For the aquatic Southern gentlemen, they've also just dropped their "Water Shorts" featuring an elastic-waistband back and flat front, and a ziplock'd, waterproof "aqua pocket", perfect for keeping your wallet safe when you're not, thanks to a combination of your own casual roundness, and the undertow.
