Complimentary talents can produce exquisite results, whether it's Kruk's zany comedy and Kuip's steady play-by-play, or George Michael's short shorts and that other WHAM! guy's whatever it was he wore. Get exquisite on your feet, with Cr8tive Recreation, dropping even now
Out of the OC, Cr8s were born when a Philippines-born graffiti artist teamed up with a bigwig from Vans, the very shoes American-born kids have been tagging with their Uniball since health class was invented. As ever, combining sneaker comfort and style with dress shoe materials, Fall starts thoughtfully conservative with models like the topsider-esque moc toe Lucianos (leather/mesh lining, two-tone rubber outsole), the star-perf'd leather low-top Roccos (think big ballin' Vans classics), and runner-style Dechicos in premium suede with kid-leather uppers (safe bet: those kids aren't alright). The collection rounds out with flashy lows (e.g., the lightweight tri-strap Velcro Torrios; the single-strapped, ultra-breathable Cesarios), and equally unsubtle highs like the hook & lace loop-up DiCocos and the multi-textured leather Pontis with ankle detailing inspired by tube socks -- if people don't get it, try tube socks
For something less sneakerish, Cr8's also got the DonCarlo (a leather slip on in several colorways) and a rugged patent hiking boot called the Dio -- hopefully named after Ronnie James, a man even shorter than the WHAM!est of shorts.
