If you hang around with enough cool people, you might eventually become cool yourself...don't give up, Zydrunas Ilgauskas! For a community of coolness that'll up your style, check out Svpply.
Started by the video giants behind Vimeo, Svpply's a shopping site curated by a community of peeps serious about e-sniffing out cool gear; basically, each member gets a "store" where they display what they've found, and you can follow peeps whose taste you like -- hopefully not back to their apartments with a can of fava beans and a nice Chianti. You can randomly search for whatever you're into or register for a more precise experience: they'll have you rifle through a series of stuff and click the seven items you like best so they can better focus your feed, after which you can filter goods by price or categories like apparel, accessories, shoes, tech, media, home, and gender, making it all the easier to track down those "boy" shorts. A jaunt through the site can tip you off to goods like a black terrycloth Muhammad Ali bathrobe, clean-lined hushpuppy-like boots with sturdier soles from Lodger in London, vintagey tortoiseshell nerd-aviators from Germany's FUNK Royal Optics, and even furniture, like a slick-looking sideboard found by a user named "Ladyparts", most of which are played by Tyler Perry these days.
Once registered, you can also load up your own "store" with goods, not only to keep a tally of stuff you might wanna buy later, but also so others can see how cool you are and follow you...all the way to Miami, which Z swears is alllll about the 16.3 minutes a game.
