"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant." - Robert Louis Stevenson
Pictured Above: BramaLlama captured this weekend's "Blood Moon." The Blood moon, also known as the Hunter's moon, is the first full moon after the Harvest Moon (which is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox). With the Harvest and Hunter's moons, they rise only 30 minutes later each day (as opposed to the typical 50), meaning the sunset and moonrise aren't all that far apart, allowing farmers and hunters to finish their work. Too much "moon" for you? Forget the reasons why: it's an awesome sight to behold regardless.
