There's something captivating about animals doing people stuff, but not just animals doing people, 'cause that's gross, though still...sooooo captivating. For animals doing their best human tricks, check out Lucius Art.
From a Chi designer prone to placing animals in human situations, Lucius Art uses vintage-style textures and design elements intended to elicit a certain old-school quality, but not an Old School quality, 'cause that's just Picasso's You're My Boy Blue period. Animalistic action includes suit-clad bears and rabbits driving around in miniature antique cars, bowtie-wearing owls and foxes posing for black-and-white portraits, and a dude vs a bear in some old-timey pugilism, kind of ignoring the fact that the true King of animal boxing is a Hippo. The activities get even further out there, such as a monkey sporting a cowboy hat while riding a beagle, an elephant dabbling in some mixed pairs figure skating, and a cat hovering in front of the moon in full-on astronaut gear, so, what, space exploration is for pussies now?
Many of the designs are also available in t-shirt form, including one of a duck riding a bicycle, a good thing, because a duck riding a human would be fowl.
