And you can too!

When was the last time you got any box? Damn. That is not a particularly recent date. End your drought with Ben Brown's Pixel Art, 8-bit odes to colorful configurations of squares put on display today at Once Over Coffee Bar by a developer who's been doin' the Web since way back in 1995, when America Online was used by people in America.

Giving the whole shop a video game make-over, Brown has created wallpaper resembling a blocky mountainside, adorned the windows with a power-up mushroom of Post-It notes, framed pixel portraits of all eight baristas, and scattered the shop with wood block sculptures of coffee cups, miniature people, and, Burn Ban be damned, bouncing fireballs.

Also on display will be the beta version of the Make Pixel Art iPad app, which allows users to get touchy-feely with the process, upload their own creations to an online database, and "remix" other users' pixelations -- Girl Talk for dudes who don't know how to talk to girls!

Should your appetite for lo-fi eye candy be unfulfilled, there's tons more on Ben's blog, ILoveBenBrown.com -- who needs box, when you can love up on yourself?
