Maximum-strength sound without a prescription

Patterned after a half-pound Vicodin, the appropriately-named newest addition to the Beats family is a portable, Bluetooth-enabled speaker that's compact enough to fit in a coat pocket and powerful enough to fill a room.

Four one-inch speakers push out about 80 decibels of music, or hands-free calling via an embedded microphone, for around seven hours on a single charge. You can also connect via the Pill's 3.5mm input jack

Its $199 price point makes this Pill a hard act to swallow, but if you need to get the party jumpin' with something the size of a horse suppository, there's nothing louder in the category.
