Because telling time doesn't have to be boring

Thankfully not a bunch of timepieces loaded with photos of of T.I. and interviews with Rob & Big, the Needlessly Complex series of clocks is comprised of 4ft-tall, wall-mountable tickers built from mini industrial drive motors, chains, and gears, which their designer claims makes them "simple in function, but just complex enough to be visually interesting", kind of like everything, when you're on shrooms. Your options:

Big Gear: A trio of overlapping, "industrial synchronous A/C motor"-powered sprockets move a chain set w/ laser-cut numerals, which are rotated counter-clockwise and indicate the hour when they crest at the top, then portend your own inexorable march towards death as they fade away.

Ratchet: This joint forgoes sprockets in favor of a lever mechanism, which moves the chain in a similar manner to the Big Gear, only clockwise, because, um, it's a f***ing clock. Chain Drive: Perhaps the simplest of the bunch, this piece is similar to the Big Gear, but only features one sprocket, giving it the appearance of gears on a fixie, an object that's simple in form but impossible to ride, when on shrooms.
