The World's First Fully-Automated Home Brewer

To master the art of home brewing, you'll need lots of patience, spare time, and a whole lot of free space to throw yourself into the process.

Wait, scratch that. You won't be needing any of those things to turn out delicious DIY beer anymore, thanks to Brewie, the world's first fully automated home brewer.

Currently raising funds on Indiegogo, Brewie is the brainchild of a passionate team of inventive home-brewers frustrated with how complicated the whole process had become. Together, they developed a standalone machine that takes care of all the tedium, while allowing the operator to program the exact type of beer they want to make.

After several iterations, the final version (above) is a microwave-sized device that makes the whole process as simple as tossing in the bagged ingredients, inputting your precise taste preferences on the built-in touchscreen, and stepping away until it's time to retrieve the delicious, finished suds. Even better? The whole thing cleans itself when you're finished. Mmm, convenience.

The crowd-funding campaign has reached nearly half its goal in the few days it's been active, and if you contribute as little as $1,399 before the end of January, you'll be one of the first to receive the Beginner's pack—complete with the Brewie, ingredients, and four kegs to set you on your path towards home brew domination.
