Buy A Real Oil Paint Replica of 'The Kramer'

Amazon is choc full of "The Kramer" posters. As you might remember, it is practically standard-issue for a freshman dorm room. But nestled in amongst the crappy inkjets is a replica of the iconic painting done in oils. Assuring us that this painting isn't done by a transfer, printer, or giclee, the listing takes great pains to emphasize that the faithful replicas are executed by the hand of a professional artist.

We're glad to report that the professional artist did not paint the frame into the canvas, which would have been an incredibly gauche move. However, it comes rolled sans frame, so you're going to need a gilded border if you really want to recreate the full effect of the original.

If you're wary of purchasing a painting that is done by hand with slight variations from edition to edition, you can email the shop and they'll send you a photo of the actual painting that will grace your wall.
