Ghurka's Safari Furniture Is From The Golden Age Of Exploration
A nod to the badass dudes who explored Asia and Africa at the turn-of-the-century, Ghurka's Campaign Furniture Collection consists of seven leather and wood pieces, each constructed with the same level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that's earned them a reputation as one of the world's finest purveyors of leather goods.
The frames for each piece, including those of the above Officer's Chair and Campaign Desk, are cut from solid American White Oak, while the leather — both the softer aniline and sturdier Bridle variety — comes from large German hides and one of the most prestigious firms in England, respectively.
In addition to the chair and desk setup, there's also a lounger and ottoman, small stool, tray table and even a bar, which would look right at home in an officer's tent, or, you know, your office. Though if you're not quite ready to invest in one of the bigger pieces (the Campaign Desk will set you back a cool $6,250), they've also got a selection of smaller items including some pillows and leather trays.
