Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen's LA Castle Is All Yours... For $50M
So, what do you do if you spend $40 million and four years building your 14,000 square foot L.A. dream house? Well, if you're Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, you live in it for about a year, then put in on the market for a cool $50 million so you can (reportedly) relocate to the frozen hellscape of Boston year-round. Celebrities: they're just like us! Here's a look at what they'll be leaving behind, courtesy of Architectural Digest.
You can't see them here, but the roof is covered in solar panels which, in addition to a second set elsewhere on the property, provide enough power to keep the whole eco-friendly estate running.
The whole place was designed to be as sustainable as possible. In addition to the solar power there's a composting area and a grey water irrigation system (which recycles waste water).
Yup, it has a koi-stocked moat. What?!?
Here's what the living room of the world's one-time highest earning couple looks like. Not too shabby.
The family room is basically its own glass castle.
Behold: where champions eat their breakfast... of champions?
Tom's off-season: all billiards, all the time.
Waking up sucks a whole lot less when you're doing it in this room every morning.
Same goes for your morning workout at the in-home gym, which comes complete with custom-made wrought-iron monkey bars and its very own patio.
That photo above the fireplace is of Gilette Stadium, which is fitting, as the bathroom is nearly the size of an NFL locker room.
Their kids' games of hide and seek are no-doubt more epic than yours were.
The sprawling infinity pool overlooks the Hollywood Hills, and yes, that's the Pacific in the distance.
But when you're sick of looking out on all that, you've got this airy, flatscreen-equipped cabana to camp out in.
