It's Time for The Giant, E-Ink Digital Clock

Chronic lateness is rarely a function of not knowing what time it is, but it can't hurt to have an enormous clock on the wall for a reminder. At over three feet wide and a foot tall, the Twelve24's ClockONE might be exactly what you need. Screaming the time in the same e-ink technology the Kindle uses, the ClockONE's modern and minimalist design simultaneously adds a unique aesthetic to the walls.

With its simple monochrome screen, it looks about as high-tech as a Game Boy screen. But e-ink is pretty cool for a number of reasons: first, this clock is powered by a single watch battery, which lasts a year. Yes, a Timex from back in the day could do that, but that was, like, 0.00001 percent of this size.

One of the cooler things about e-ink displays is the ability to function in odd shapes, and the ClockONE gives e-ink some crazy eights to work with. It's mounted on a machined aluminum frame but stays light; the final product is barely over three pounds.

Available in multiple colors, the ClockONE can lean up against your wall on a shelf or mount on the wall with magnets that allow you to select any orientation. And yes, General, it does have a 12 to 24-hour switch on the back.
