Light Up Your Place With Exploding Lamps

Extracting beauty from disaster and waaaay cooler than the lighting options you'll find at IKEA (with a few exceptions), Breaking Bulbs is a collection of three 3D-printed lamps that look like giant traditional lighbulbs that have been frozen mid-shatter after being dropped or smashed against a wall.

Standing between seven and eight inches high, they work great either sitting on a table, hanging from the ceiling, or even highlighted as an illuminated art piece resting against your wall.

Joe McGauley is a senior editor at Supercompressor and suggests using the potato method to remove broken lightbulbs from sockets.
