This Low-Tech, High-Style Retro Desk Plays Music

This vintage-looking desk boasts some seriously old-school features for your modern day tech. Created by Industrial Designer Jina U, based in Seoul, South Korea, as a graduate project, the Soundbox Table has clean lines and crisp coloring that cleverly hide a built-in, gramophone-style speaker.

Get a closer look at how she did it, and start picturing it in your office.

From afar, you notice the stylish Acacia wood accents and striking teal metalwork, but take a peak inside...

...and you'll find this gramophone contraption that amplifies sound naturally without electricity or a mess of wires. Fitting, considering this wouldn't look at all out of place in the offices of Sterling Cooper Draper Price.

The recessed iPhone dock and copper mesh metal detailing help to properly blast those tunes. Meanwhile, the ample storage space and accompanying matching chair make it a practical addition to your stylish digs.

Now turn down the Taylor Swift and try and get some work done, okay?
