For decades, the first LA home Frank Lloyd Wright designed—the Hollyhock House—sat closed to the public, slowly decaying from its original grandeur and pockmarked by shoddy additions. Then in 2010, the city got its act together and threw money at a full-on restoration to bring it back to its 1920s-era glory.

The freshened up digs reopened to the public last month, and judging by this early look inside from Curbed, you'll want to set aside some time during your next West Coast jaunt to check it out.
