Mount your old handlebars like a three-point buck

Begun as a memento mori for the designer's father's discarded mountain and road bikes, Bicycle Taxidermy is a unique outfit that will mount your prized two-wheeler's handlebars to a wooden board, along with a metal placard and a custom scrawled epitaph to create a "loving and lasting solution for your mechanical bereavement," you sappy freak.

There are two ways to go about getting a set of 'bars on your wall: either they'll ship you one of the wooden plaques (cut from bleached or scorched European oak) complete with an engraved epitaph and chrome mounting brackets for you to attach your own stem to...

...or, if you're more into the aesthetic than the sentimentality, they offer a diverse selection of new chopper, butterfly, cruiser, and dropped handlebars that come shipped pre-mounted, which serve more as an art piece than some faux sad shrine.
