Rolling a drink is a super-simple technique, which entails pouring a drink back and forth between two cocktail tins. Not only does it mix the drink thoroughly, but also chills it just enough without over-diluting it. Here, step by step instructions on how to roll a drink to perfection.
2 shaker tins or mixing glasses
Prepped drink glass
Add all the ingredients of your drink to one of the shaker tins, then fill it with ice.
Holding a shaker tin in each hand, slowly pour the drink into the empty tin.
Slowly pour the drink back into the first tin.
Repeat the process a few times to fully chill, dilute and mix all the ingredients in the drink.
When you’re satisfied with the temperature of the drink, pour all of the contents into a clean glass that’s been prepped for drinking.
