When chilling and mixing a Bloody Mary, traditional cocktailing methods just don’t do the job. Stirring doesn’t mix the drink thoroughly and shaking causes the tomato juice to froth too much. So consider this alternative method of mixing your Mary: rolling.
Rolling a drink is a super-simple technique, which entails pouring a drink back and forth between two cocktail tins. Not only does it mix the drink thoroughly, but also chills it just enough without over-diluting it. Here, step by step instructions on how to roll a drink to perfection.

Add all the ingredients of your drink to one of the shaker tins, then fill it with ice.
Holding a shaker tin in each hand, slowly pour the drink into the empty tin.
Slowly pour the drink back into the first tin.
Repeat the process a few times to fully chill, dilute and mix all the ingredients in the drink.
When you’re satisfied with the temperature of the drink, pour all of the contents into a clean glass that’s been prepped for drinking.
