There's a certain semblance of satisfaction that comes from completing a project from start to finish. For example: baking a cake from scratch or making a pizza instead of ordering it. This satisfaction, however, should only come with projects that turn out well... like when you successfully bake a delicious cake or make a tasty pizza.
Somebody should really tell that to the dude who spent almost a year of his life (and $4,000) making a suit from scratch. The How To Make Everything series on YouTube shows the abundance of hard work and meager payoff for something as small as making a sandwich from scratch, let alone an entire suit.
Watch as a sheep is sheared, silkworms are raised, and leather is tanned to procure the materials necessary for a homemade suit. The results are, uh, less than overwhelming. They're not even whelming.
